Description:	This course is aimed for the person that wants to learn everything about Photoshop. This course starts from basic colour theory to using the basic functions of Photoshop. This course is aimed for the Photoshop first time user.

	Basic concepts
		Pixels, resolution and colour depth
		Image acquisition - scanning requirements
		The file browser - managing and finding files
		Setting up - setting preferences and optimising performance
		Using the Photoshop workspace - navigation, tools, palettes etc.

	Basic techniques
		Cropping, resizing and saving images.
		Understanding and using colour modes RGB, CMYK, HSB etc., about 16-bit mode.
		Painting and editing - tools and techniques.
		Defining colours, patterns and gradients.
		Multiple undo and version control using the History palette
	Retouching techniques
		Cloning pixels, the healing brush and the patch tool, local colour corrections

	Compositing techniques
		Creating masks and cutouts - basic to intermediate selection techniques Understanding transparency

	Working with Layers
